Boylan made it three wins this season against East and Thursday’s was the biggest one yet.
The Lady Titans defeated the E-Rabs 61-56 to win the 4A Hampshire Sectional. The Titans trailed by five points after three quarters but they bounced back.
“It’s very exciting man,!” said Boylan guard McKenzie Brown of the win. “We played our butts off and we got the win. That’s what we came here to do.”
“We just had to keep our heads up,” says Boylan center Sara Welsh. “We knew that we could do it and we knew it was our game. Once we came out hot and we started scoring we were off from there.”
The Titans advance to the Dundee-Crown Super-Sectional Monday to face Palatine Fremd.
