Boylan seizes complete command of NIC-10 race with a win over Harlem


ROCKFORD, Ill. (WTVO/WQRF) –Boylan moved another big step closer toward a potential NIC-10 championship Friday night by defeating Harlem 20-13.

The Titans trailed 7-0 at halftime, but they scored 20 consecutive points in the second half to go up 20-7. Harlem added a late touchdown for the final score.

The Titans won despite sitting out running back/linebacker Tray Malone who was nursing a tender ankle.

The Titans are 6-0 with games remaining against Guilford, Freeport and East. The Titans are on game ahead of Belvidere North and now two games ahead of Harlem, Hononegah and Auburn.
