Peyton Manning helps further cements his legacy by capturing his second Super Bowl title against the Carolina Panthers.
Even though Peyton Manning is receiving a lot of attention, it was the Broncos defense that dominated this football game. They gave this year’s NFL MVP Cam Newton fits the entire game. Newton was sacked six times and turned the ball over three times.
Super Bowl MVP Broncos linebacker Von Miller was a nightmare for the Panthers. He sacked Newton 2.5 times, and forced two fumbles.
Peyton Manning didn’t have eye-popping numbers. He threw for 141 yards, and did not throw a touchdown pass. But he did a great job of managing the game and not putting his team in any bad spots.
Manning was unwilling to say whether this was his last time on a football field after the game. But if it is the last time, there couldn’t be a more fitting way for one of the greatest quarterbacks to ever play the game of football to day goodbye.
