Bulls draft North Carolina point guard Coby White

The Bulls have their point guard of the future and maybe the present. Thursday night they selected North Carolina’s Coby White in the first round, number 7 overall.

The 19 year-old White averaged 16.1 points, 4.1 assists and 3.5 rebounds per game as a freshman at North Carolina. He broke Michael Jordan’s freshman scoring record for the Tar Heels. He had a high game of 35 points against Syracuse.

In high school he was the top high school scorer in North Carolina history totaling 3,573 points.
