Byron hands Genoa-Kingston its first loss, improves to 7-1

BYRON, Ill. (WTVO/WQRF) — Byron beat Genoa-Kingston 42-13 Friday night in a Big Northern Conference battle. The Tigers are now 7-1 on the season. The Cogs suffered their first defeat.

Both teams are now one game behind 8-0 Stillman Valley in the conference race. Drake Snodgrass’s 85 yard kickoff return was the biggest play of the night for the Tigers who now have Snodgrass and several other key players back to full health.
