WTVO/WQRF — Rockton native Corey Anderson is still waiting for the announcement of his next UFC fight and opponent. In the meantime he has something to celebrate.
Anderson has been nominated for induction into the New Jersey State Martial Arts Hall of Fame. He is one of 17 nominees for this year. He has been nominated in the ‘MMA’ category.
Anderson is currently the eighth ranked light heavyweight in UFC. He won all three of his fights last year against Patrick Cummins, Glover Teixeira and Ilir Latifi to raise his record to 12-4. Then he took a break at the start of this year for the birth of his son who arrived in March.
