IceHogs forward Ryan Haggerty is trying to make up for lost time. He missed eight weeks of the season with an injury.
He has seven games under his belt since returning to action. Last week he had two goals and an assistin three games. A sign that he might be ready to break-out.
“After those eight weeks it’s definitely hard coming back in mid-season and trying to be up to speed as quick as you can,” says Haggerty. “I think my speed, my foot speed and my handling of the puck is where it needs to be and I feel I’ve been putting pretty good games together lately.”
“I think he’s got one of the best shots on our team. One of the hardest shots for sure,” says IceHogs coach Ted Dent. “To get our power play going and to generate some offense I think he can be a big part of it.”
