Hinostroza Heating Up For The IceHogs

Vince Hinostroza is hitting his stride in his first full season with the IceHogs. He has scored four goals in his past five games.

Wednesday night he had a goal and an assist in the IceHogs 3-1 win over the Charlotte Checkers.

The 21 year old from Bartlett, Illinois saw action in five games for the IceHogs at the end of last season to get his feet wet.

He started slowly this season, but he’s showing signs now that he could be a major contributor the rest of the season.

“I think I’m getting the hang of the pro game. I’m really starting to feel comfortable out there, and my linemates are playing great as well, so I’d like to thank them a lot for my success here the last two weeks. but we have a lot here to accomplish still,” says Hinostroza.

Hinostroza played at Notre Dame during the 2013-14 and 2014-15 seasons before joining the IceHogs.
