Hononegah’s King of the basketball court chooses Marquette

Hononegah’s King of the basketball court won’t have to worry about choosing a college during her final season in Rockton. She’s already made that decision.

Jordan King announced on social media Saturday night that she will continue her academic and athletic career at Marquette University in the fall of 2019.

Marquette finished with a 24-10 record in 2017-18. The Golden Eagles were Big East regular season co-champions with a 15-3 record in conference play. Marquette was a No. 8 seed in the NCAA Tournament and fell to Final Four finalist Louisville in the second round.

King is coming off a junior season where she led the NIC-10 in points (21.1 ppg), steals (4.0), and blocked shots (1.3).
