The NIU Huskies will get another feel for how much they’ve improved when they take on Ohio State Wednesday evening.
The Huskies are off to a 7-1 start this season. It’s their best start in years. Their only loss came in their last outing December 2nd at Missouri.
The Huskies are looking forward to facing a Big Ten foe that has a strong track record on the basketball court even if the 4-5 Buckeyes aren’t playing up to their usual standards this season.
“I love it. I love it a lot,” says NIU forward Darrell Bowie of the matchup. “It’s always fun playing against those type of competition, those kind of programs especially with Ohio State and you see the players that they have.”
“You play like you’re the underdog and we just prove to everybody that we all work hard, so it’s just going to be crazy. I’m excited for it,” says center Marin Maric.
The game will tip-off at 6 p.m. central time.
