IceHogs get blanked in Iowa 4-0


The IceHogs returned from their Christmas break and appeared a bit sluggish in a 4-0 loss at Iowa Wednesday evening.

The Wild scored a pair of goals in the second period to take the lead. They added two more for good measure in the third period. The last goal was an empty-netter. The previous three were scored on Kevin Lankinen.

The IceHogs lost despite outshooting the Wild 39-20.

The loss snaps the IceHogs’ there game winning streak. Their next game will be at home Friday night against the Chicago Wolves.
