The Christmas break could not have come at a worse time for the IceHogs. They were on a three game winning streak and they were finally scoring goals in bunches.
When they returned from the time off they fell flat in Iowa Monday night losing 4-1 to the Wild.
Center Mark McNeill says the IceHogs won’t let that loss take away the good vibes they had when they were winning.
“No not at all. That’s a learning lesson for us,” says McNeill. “Coming back after the break and then losing that first one, but we’re not going to let the negativity creep back in. We were playing some pretty good hockey before the break and we’re going to get back to that Wednesday and the rest of this week here.”
The IceHogs will try to start a new winning streak Wednesday night when they host the Chicago Wolves.
