IHSA Round 2 Start Times

Round 2 is set for the IHSA playoffs.

In Class 1A, Forreston will host top-seeded and undefeated Stark County. The Cardinals beat Stark County a year ago en route to their 2014 State Championship.

Fresh off it’s first ever playoff win, Warren will host undefeated Polo in a battle between two Northwest Upstate Illini rivals. Stockton will host Ottawa Marquette, and Lena-Winslow will host Orion.

In Class 4A, Lutheran will host Richmond-Burton in a Big Northern Conference battle, but after last week’s Dixon rematch was moved to Harlem, the site of that game has still yet to be determined.

In Class 3A Byron will head on the road to undefeated and top-seeded Wilmington in a rematch of the 2014 semifinals.

Sterling will be the place to be on Saturday. Newman will play at home against Bishop McNamara. Meanwhile across town, the Golden Warriors will welcome top seeded and undefeated Washington in Class 5A.

In Class 6A, DeKalb will head on the road Saturday to play Deerfield.

Class 7A features Auburn on the road at 8th seeded Reavis. The Knights defeated Hononegah for the school’s first playoff victory in 25 years.
