Jefferson’s big three sign letters of intent

After doing damage in the NIC-10 last season, Jefferson’s big three in boys basketball are ready to take their talents to the next level.

Quillin Dixon will play division one basketball at Chicago State University in the fall. He’s excited for the challenge ahead.

“I’m very excited,” says Dixon. “I know I can get the results I want if I put in the work I’m supposed to.”

NIC-10 MVP MyQuion Garrett and Terry Ford are sticking together. They are both headed to Triton College in River Grove. The two are happy they are sticking together.

“I had the best time playing with MyQuion, and all my teammates in high school,” says Ford. “So it’s very fun to bring along a high school teammate.”

“It’s good. We’ve got chemistry,” says Garrett. “We know how each other plays so we can hopefully win us a national championship.”
