Boylan graduate Dean Lowry has been invited to the NFL Draft Combine. He’ll report to Indianapolis in late February.
Lowry recently finished up his college career at Northwestern. The big defensive end is in Florida this week getting ready to play in the East-West Shrine game.
He’ll report for the Combine February 24th.
A committee made of of the directors of both national scouting services and members of the NFL teams’ Player personnel departments select players who get invited to the combine.
While there players are put through medical examinations, psychological testing and on-field workouts. Those who perform well increase their odds of being taken in the NFL draft at the end of April.
Lowry had 13.5 tackles for loss for Northwestern last season helping the Wildcats to a ten-win season.
