LPGA legend Julie Inkster added to the Rockford Pro-Am field

The trend toward LPGA players participating in the Rockford Pro-Am picked up more steam on Monday  morning when it was announced that LPGA legend Juli Inkster has been added to the field of participants for this summer.

Inkster has won 31 LPGA titles in her career including seven major championships. Seh ranks seventh on the LPGA’s all-time money list at more than $14 million for her career. Inkster was also inducted into the World Gofl Hall of Fame in 2000.

She has also served as the captain of the USA Solheim Cup team and she will be doing so again thi syear in Scotland in September.

Pro-Am organizers had previously announced that 14 LPGA players had already committed to the Pro-Am. The Rockford Pro-Am will be held Monday, July 8 at the Aldeen Golf Club in Rockford.
