Maddon agrees to manage the Angels

(WTVO/WQRF) — Former Cubs’ manager Joe Maddon with be back in the dugout with the Los Angeles Angels next season. According to multiple reports he has agreed to a three-year contract with the Angels.

That partnership is a natural because Maddon spent 31 seasons in the Angels organization as a player and a coach.

Maddon has been a three-time Manager of the Year in his career with the Rays and the Cubs. he’s joining an Angels team that finished a disappointing 18 games under .500 (72-90) last season.
