The Rockford Rivets claimed both ends of a day-night home and away doubleheader Tuesday against the Kenosha Kingfish.
The Rivets took game one in Rockford 14-3. They took advantage of control issues by the Rivets pitching staff. The Rivets benefited from 12 walks. That was during a ‘Kids Day’ game in Loves park.
In the night game in Kenosha the Rivets won 5-0 behind pitcher Brad Littleton. He went the distance and he allowed only one hit.
