Rockton native Corey Anderson has a new UFC contract and a new opponent to prepare for. He announced both on social media Sunday.

He’ll fight Glover Teixeira at UFC Fight Night 134  in Hamburg, Germany on July 22. Anderson is replacing Ilir Latifi on the card in a co-main event in the light heavyweight division. Latifi has pulled out with an undisclosed injury.

Anderson’s new deal is his fourth contract with UFC. Here is his post on Instagram:

coreya_mmaWhen opportunity knocks you answer… I got where I am now, off the right opportunities on short notice fights and staying in the gym. Happy to announce that I have signed my 4th contract with the @ufc and I will be fighting my 12th fight in my UFC career against Glover Teixeira in 2 weeks . #itsgotime #letsgo #ufc #backatit #timetowork #shortnotice #stayready #earnyourworth

Anderson is coming off a convincing win over Patrick Cummins in his last fight April 21 in Atlantic City by a unanimous decision in the light heavyweight division.
