RVC’s Adolph National PItcher Of The Year

Rock Valley College

The NJCAA Division III Softball Committee announced Monday that Morgan Adolph of Rock Valley will retain her title as the Dudley® NJCAA DIII Softball Pitcher of the Year. Receiving the honor as a freshman in 2015, Adolph becomes the first player to be presented with the award twice.

Responsible for over half of Rock Valley’s wins in a 49-9 campaign, Adolph’s presence on the mound was unmatched in 2016 as she led the Golden Eagles to their third consecutive national championship.

The sophomore finished with a 25-2 record – posting the most wins of any DIII pitcher – and recorded a save in her 33 appearances on the season. Her 206 strikeouts were second-most in the country, while her 1.74 ERA ranked fourth and her 177 innings pitched were fifth on the national leaderboard.
