Rockford native Sean Slattery is finishing up his college golfing career with a flourish. He has been named to the All-Ohio Valley Conference team for the second straight year.
The Boylan graduate golfs for SIU-Edwardsville where he is a senior. His 71.8 scoring average is the lowest in SIU-Edwardsville history and it ranks second in the OVC.
SIU-Edwardsville is competing in the conferece tournament this week.
Slattery is a three-time Great Rockford Men’s City Golf Champion. He won those titles in 2015, 2016, 2018. He was also on Boylan’s state championship team in 2013-14.
