Titans’ hot start not enough in loss to Chicago Crane

ROCKFORD, Ill. (WTVO/WQRF) — Chicago Crane’s basketball team arrived more than half an hour late to the Boylan Thanksgiving Invitational Wednesday night due to holiday traffic issues. The Cougars then got outscored 9-0 by the Titans at the start of the game, but once they got their legs under them the Cougars not only made a game of it, they defeated the Titans 76-71.

Boylan was still short-handed sitting out five players from the football team. They are not expected to suit up until after the tournament next week.

Johnny Close did suit up for Boylan. He fired in a game-high 31 points. Andrew Latino was next with 15 points.
