Two IceHogs are enjoying the accolades of being AHL All-Stars.
Defenseman Carl Dahlstrom and Matthew Highmore will represent the Hogs in Utica, New York Sunday and Monday. The skills competition will be held on Sunday. The actual All-Star game will be Monday.
“I’m very proud, very proud. It’s an exciting time for me,” says Dahlstrom. “Me and High are definitely going to make the most of it.”
“I’m just very, very excited!,” says Highmore. “I’m extremely honored to be able to represent the IceHogs organization at the game and the skills competition. It’s exciting and a complete honor.”
Dahlstrom has 19 points through 39 games this season on three goals and 16 assists. Highmore leads the team in overall scoring and goals. In 41 games played he has 17 goals. He leads all AHL rookies in shots on goal.
