Ron Vandermeir Jr. (Sheridan, IL) won his second consecutive NSTC title Sunday, bettering a field of 24 Mid-Am cars in the 50-lap race. While Alex Prunty (Lomira, WI) won the big 200-lap Late-Model series race at the Rockford Speedway in the 52nd National Short Track Championships.
