Light snow continues to fall across the Stateline Thursday morning, with just a little under two inches coming down so far. Current temperatures are in the upper 20s and low 30s, and while most of the snow has accumulated on the grassy surfaces, there is some minor accumulation taking place on the roads – especially the lesser traveled roads.
Main roads will primarily be wet, but some of the lesser traveled and county roads will be slick and most likely will be covered with some slush. Visibility across the Stateline isn’t down too much, with most reporting right around 2-3 mile visibility. To the west, there are some moderate to heavier snow bands that will slowly begin to work in from the west through the morning and afternoon. Visibility has fallen down to under a mile under those bands in Iowa.
